Are there any exclusions?
Yes. Due to contest rules DBA students, EMBA students and employees of Jacksonville University are excluded.
If I apply more than once does it help my chances?
There is one entry per student. Applying more than once will NOT help your chances.
What if I cant make one of the required event dates?
We prefer that you attend all of the sessions including orientation, brief class on your digital footprint, photo day and awards ceremony. If you cannot attend one or more of these sessions, please contact Barbara Commander. bcomman1@ju.edu
Do you have to take the personality assessment?
It is not required, however most appreciate this benefit. Students will learn more about themselves and how they should build teams around them. The assessment itself takes just 5-7 minutes and is incredibly accurate and insightful. Results are not share with anyone outside of Predictive Results (testing vendor)
If you won in a previous year, can you apply again?
Congratulations! Previous year winners are NOT eligible to apply again. However if you were a honorable mention you CAN apply again.
If you didn’t win in a previous year, can you apply again?
Yes, even if you were an honorable mention in the past.
Is there a cost?
Absolutely not. Advantage Business Magazine sponsors and Jacksonville University have stepped up to make sure this is completely free to students.
